The Central Industrial Security Force
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced a recruitment drive for 2025, offering 1,124 vacancies for the positions of Constable/Driver and Constable/Driver-Cum-Pump Operator (Driver for Fire Services). The Official notification was released on January 21, 2025, detailing the application process, eligibility criteria, and other pertinent information.

Constable/Driver: 845 posts

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed the 10th-grade education from a recognized board.
- Driving License: A valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle, Light Mor Vehicle, and Motorcycle with gear is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of driving experience the relevant vehicle categories is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 21 and 27 years of age as of March 2025. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.
Application Process:
Interested candidates can apply online through the official CISF recruitment portal from February 3 to March 4, 2025. The application fee is ₹100 for General, EWS, and OBC categories, while SC and ST candidates are exempted from the fee.
Selection Procedure:
The selection process comprises the following stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PE and Physical Standards Test (PST)
- *Documentation Verification. Trade Test
- Written Examination
- Medical Examination
Candidates must successfully clear each stage to progress to the next.
