The  Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the Group D recruitment for 2025, offering 32,438 vacancies across various positions. application process commenced on January 23, 2025, and will conclude on February 22, 2025.

 Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard or hold an ITI certificate from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or possess an equivalent qualification.

• Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 36 years of age as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxations a applicable for reserved categories as per government.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: INR 500

• SC/ST/PWD/male Candidates: INR 250

The examination fee can be paid through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Selection process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): The CBT comprises multiple-choice questions covering subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science,  and General Awareness & Current Affair 

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates  who qualify in the CBT will undergo the PET,  which assesses  capabilities like ting and carrying weights and running. 

3.Document Verification and Medical Examination: Successful candidates from the PET will be called for document verification, followed by a medical examination to ensure fitness for the roles.

• **Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  Duration: 90 minutes

  • Number of Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions

    • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)  Requirements:

• Male Candidates:

  • Lift  carry 35 kg weight a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting the weight down.
  • Run 1000 meters in 4utes and 15 seconds.

• Female Candidates:

  • Lift and carry 20 kg weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 mins without putting the weight down.
  • Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

These tasks must be completed in a single attempt.  

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official RRB website corresponding to their region. Ensure all required documents are uploaded, and the application fee is paid before the deadline on February 22, 2025.
